Enjoy a free outdoor concert at the main stage area or jump on board the "Blues Cruise" and listen to Blues performers at five venues in the Uptown area. Under the artistic direction of Shrimp City Slim (Gary Erwin), the "Blues Cruise" has featured a wide variety of Blues performers including Drink Small, Wanda Johnson, the WIYO's, Delta Moon, Bob Margolin, the King Bees, Bryan Lee "The Braille Blues Daddy," MacArnold, Nappy Brown, Shane Pruitt, Dave Mackenzie, and many more! ALL MUSIC IS FREE!
Discover the great taste and flavor of Carolina Barbeque and traditional Black Kettle Hash. The weekend features a Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) sanctioned and South Carolina State Championship cook-off featuring some the best BBQ teams in the country. In 2009, nearly 80 professional and amateur teams from 8 states converged on Greenwood! The mission of the Kansas City Barbeque Society is to celebrate, teach, preserve, and promote barbecue as a culinary technique, sport and art form. The goal of KCBS is to have barbecue recognized as America’s Cuisine.
What is Black Kettle Hash you ask? It's South Carolina culture and history at its best!
