July 13, 5:30-7pm. Discovery Lab: An Interactive Experience Opens at The Museum

 

A new interactive Discovery Zone is opening in Uptown Greenwood for Lakelands area citizens and tourists!

 

The Discovery Zone will feature exciting exhibits such as a ride-on Gyrocycle and Virtual Reality Soccer to create fun and educational opportunities for the whole family.

 

The new Discovery Zone will occupy The Museum's renovated lower level, where visitors can explore a Seeds to Satellites exhibit, a hands-on gravity well, a Human Kaleidoscope, and a Shadow Capture Wall. An Early 20th Century Phone System will allow visitors to call each other using old fashioned telephones.

 

Opening Reception Friday, July 13 from 5:30-7pm, free and open to the public. Everyone welcome.

 

Regular Museum Hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm with FREE admission sponsored by City of Greenwood Hospitality Tax.
